Artist's Description

The wild horses of North Carolina’s Currituck Outer Banks have survived more than four centuries of hurricanes, fierce winter nor’easters, and swarms of biting insects. Graced with a strong, inner sense of self-preservation, the horses enjoy a rich and distinguished history.

The Outer Banks consist of a series of barrier islands made entirely of sand. They stretch 175 miles south from the Virginia border to Cape Lookout National Seashore. About Kim Galluzzo

Kim Galluzzo

I've been taking pictures as a hobby for years and over the last several I've been told I really should try and sell! Well, here I am... !!! I grew up in Massachusetts USA and now live in North Carolina. I have a passion for all wildlife and anything Mother Nature as you will see in my photos! My new love the last couple of years is "Horses" of all kinds... helping out, when I can with advocating for the "American Wild Horses & Abroad" through out to help keep them Wild & Free and not used for monetary gain nor meat! Next, I need to upgrade to a DSLR! Most pics were taken with an Olympus SP 590uz Digital. If anyone has one for sale, let me know or opinions on what to buy :) I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking...
